A Novel by
B.J. Boltauzer

The
mysterious and mystical Circle of Light, a small,
but powerful, group of seven mystics from various
religions, is back in this thriller novel, by
author, B.J. Boltauzer, about corporate greed and
the potential devastation of the earth and its
resources.
Under the guise of charitable and humanitarian
needs, Boyd Chemaplus Holdings International uses
the poor like human guinea pigs, profiting from
their suffering and death.
Can an ambitious career woman, heed the warning of a
Message and help the Circle of Light stop the
desecration of the earth? As the message urges her:
'find the dihai and the future to save us all.'

Dear
friend;
I'd like
to quote a paragraph written by Dr. Mario Beauregard
and Denyse O'Leary in their enlightening book
called;
The
Spiritual Brain
A
Neuroscientist's Case for the Existence of the Soul
"The
development of planetary consciousness, the
spiritualization of consciousness, is absolutely
essential if humanity is to successfully solve the
global crises that confront us (e.g., destruction of
the biosphere, extremes of poverty and wealth,
injustice and inequality, wars, nuclear arms,
clashing political interests, opposing religious
beliefs, etc.) and wisely create a future that
benefits all humans and all forms of life on planet
Earth."
That, my
friend, is indeed a judicious Message to deliver,
and to heed. And demonstrates what can happen when a
scientist discovers, then he scientifically proves,
the soul is factual.

There is hope.

CIRCLE OF LIGHTS and their SYMBOLS
|
~
QUESTIONS and ANSWERS ~
Dear Friend:
Were you able
to join any of the symbols with the mystic seven of the
Circle of Lights?
Well then,
Congratulations!
And... if you
scored 100% or better, (remember there are
eight symbols) ...you are absolutely amazing!

Author B.J.
Boltauzer
 |
However, and
to be totally fair to those who scored less then 100% and are proud of their
spiritual/religious knowledge,
allow me to explain each symbol -thus, removing any
lingering doubts.
But if you still have
doubts, an email would be interesting and pleasant to
receive.

Explanations for my choice of Symbols for the Mystics
 |
Jesuit
Solar Cross of the Jesuits (Society of Jesus) shows the
letters IHS: dating from the 8th c., this is an
abbreviation for "IHESUS," the way Christ's Name was
spelled in the Middle Ages. The three nails represent
the three nails of the crucifixion.
For over 460 years members of the Jesuit order have
lived an amazing story of serving the Church in new and
unexpected ways. And they are still the men on the move,
ready to change place, occupation, method -whatever will
advance their mission in the Church of teaching love and
compassion of Christ and preaching his Good News -a
radical service of the implications of faith in a world
that respects neither faith itself nor the justice it
calls out.
Director of De Nobili Dialogue Centre in the UK writes:
"Inter religious dialogue is not about conversion; it is
about understanding. The aim is to encounter the people
of different faiths with sensitivity and respect in
order to discern in the meeting the movement of God’s
spirit, which “blows where it wills.” For Jesuits,
dialogue with people of other faiths is a major
dimension of their commitment to be companions of Jesus
and servants of his mission.” |

Wicca
Pentagram: a five pointed star drawn with five strokes
without lifting one’s pencil.
A standard Wicca symbol; it represents the four basic
elements (wind, water, earth and fire) plus a
pantheistic spiritual being such as Gaia or Mother
Earth.
When the pentagram is placed within a circle (symbol of
unity and wholeness), it stresses connection with the
universe as a whole. Another interpretation of the
upright pentagram is that it symbolizes the most common
view of deity in Witchcraft. The upper three points
represent the Goddess in her threefold aspect of Maiden,
Mother, and Crone. The lower two points represent her
consort God, in his twin aspects of God of Light and God
of Darkness. |

Cabala
Cabalistic Tree of Life, is a mystical symbol used in
the Cabala of esoteric Judaism to describe the path to
God and the manner in which He created the world out of
nothing. The Cabalists developed this concept into a
full model of reality, using the tree to depict a map of
creation.
The Tree Of Life is a diagram representative of the
process by which, Kabbalists believe, the universe came
into being; it represents ten different characteristics
of God and their effects in creation. The divine essence
is at the top, followed by the middle and lower realms
of reality. The beginning of the universe is placed at a
space above the first Sephiroth, or Kether, which means
the Crown in English. It is not always pictured in
reproductions of the Tree of Life, but is referred to
universally as Ain Soph Aur (Ain - Without, Soph - End,
Aur - Light). To the Kabbalists, it symbolises that
point beyond which our comprehension about the origins
of Being cannot go any further; it is considered to be
an infinite nothingness out of which the first 'thing'
(thought of in science, and the Kabbalah, to be energy)
exploded to create a universe of multiple things. |

Buddhist
Dharmachakra Wheel
Buddhist Wheel of apprenticeship, also known as wheel of
righteousness or dharma chakra wheel.
The wheel represents the cycle of rebirth and
apprenticeship whose movement through successive
reincarnations frees humanity from suffering. The
wheel's motion is a metaphor for the rapid spiritual
change engendered by the teachings of the Buddha.
The eight spokes of the wheel symbolize the Noble
Eightfold Path set out by the Buddha in his teachings. |

Sufi,
Tughra Inayati, Winged Heart
Winged heart of Sufism is
a heart rising to God, immersed in a single-minded
quality of surrender and devotion.
The symbol explains that
the heart is between soul and body, a medium between
spirit and matter. When the soul is covered by its love
for matter, it is naturally attracted to matter. But the
heart is subject not only to gravitation, but also to
attraction from on high, and as in the Egyptian
symbology wings are the symbol of spiritual progress, so
the heart with wings expresses that the heart reaches
upward towards heaven.
The crescent represents
the responsiveness of the crescent moon to the light of
the sun, for naturally it receives the light, which
develops it until it becomes the full moon. The
principal teaching of Sufism is that of learning to
become a pupil, for it is the pupil who has a chance of
becoming a teacher, and once a person considers that he
is a teacher, his responsiveness is gone. The greatest
teachers of the world have been the greatest pupils. It
is this principle which is represented by the crescent:
the crescent in the heart signifies that the heart which
is responsive to the light of God is illuminated. |

Rosicrucian
Rosicrucian Cross also used by and known as the rosy
cross of the Order of Golden Dawn.
This rather elaborate cross contains attributes for the
Elements, Planets, Zodiak, Hebrew alphabet and
Alchemical principles, the hexagram and pentagram, the
sepheroth of the Tree of Life, and the formula of INRI.
On the back side of the rosy cross is inscribed the
motto of the Zelator Adeptus Minor at the bottom, "The
master Jesus Christ, God and Man" between four Maltese
crosses, and in the center, written in Latin, "Blessed
be the Lord our God who hath given us the Symbol Signum."
Rosicrucians and members of the Golden Dawn study
Biblical, Hermetic, Alchemic and Cabalistic teachings.
Their study covers mental science in all its forms; it
is philosophical in its less abstract form and
metaphysical in its most abstract expression. The study
of cosmology and evolution are attractive to its
devotees. The object of Rosicrucian study is most
assuredly human nature and the perfection and
improvement of that nature through diligent study and
service so that the individual is transformed from a
state of nature to a state of grace. |

Benedictine
Benedictine Cross Crux S. Patris Benedict (The Cross of
our Holy father Benedict.)
The vertical beam of the Cross has five letters:
C.S.S.M.L., meaning Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux (May the
holy Cross be for me a light).
The
horizontal beam of the Cross also has five letters:
N.D.S.M.D., meaning Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux (Let not the
dragon be my guide). The four large letters at the
angles of the Cross: C S P B stand for Crux Sancti
Patris Benedicti (The Cross of the Holy Father
Benedict). Encircling the Cross in a circle around the
right margin are these letters: V.R.S.N.S.M.V., meaning
Vade retro Satana; nunquam suade mihi vana (Begone
Satan! Suggest not to me thy vain things). Around the
left margin of the circle are these letters:
S.M.Q.L.I.V.B., meaning Sunt mala quae libas; ipse
venena bibas (The drink you offer is evil; drink that
poison yourself). At the top of the circle is the word
PAX (Peace). Peace is wholeness and unity. This means
that like Jesus, we should strive to always have love
and compassion for others and always to be on the side
of justice for all.
The White robed Monks of St Benedict practice Zazen and
their symbol is a perfect circle of Zen. They are the
foremost promoters of the traditional true Christian
values of love and compassion for the whole of creation.
The White Robed Monks of St. Benedict serve all people.
Their outlook is that of Catholic Spirituality
(experience: love/compassion) rather than religion
(belief: fear, guilt, shame, blame). Thus, they
are neither Roman nor Orthodox, Liberal nor Old
Catholic. The White Robed Benedictines are just
Catholic. |

Masonic
Square and Compass
Masonic Square and Compasses represent movement toward
perfection and a balance between the spiritual and
physical. The compasses (used to form circles) represent
spirit. The ruler (part of a square) represent the
physical.
Both the square and compasses are architect's tools, and
are used in Masonic ritual as emblems to teach symbolic
lessons in conduct: for example, that Masons should
"square their actions by the square of virtue" and learn
to "circumscribe their desires and keep their passions
within due bounds toward all mankind". |
